The core partners are Ffotogallery in Cardiff, Fotosommer Stuttgart, the Lithuanian Photographers Association in Kaunas and Le Château d’Eau in Toulouse. PHE 2014

My work will be shown in the exhibition “Surprising Affinities” at Fundacion Antonio Saura in Cuenca, Spain during Photo España 2014.
This work is part of the collection of Le Chateau d’Eau in Toulouse.

Press release
Surprising Affinities looks at a selection of photographs from the collection of Le Château d’Eau de Toulouse. The exhibition, comprising work by around eighty artists, offers a survey of creative highlights in the international visual arts over the last four decades, including pieces by lead- ing photographers like Robert Doisneau, Walker Evans, Joan Fontcuberta and Paolo Roversi.
Le Château d’Eau is a cultural organisation founded in 1974 by photographer Jean Dieuzaide. It was the first public institution in France devoted permanently and exclusively to photography. The Château d’Eau collection, which was started in the 1970s, comprises around 4,000 pieces by over 400 artists. Featured names include classics such as André Kertész and August Sander, contempo- raries like Bernard Plossu and John Batho, and young professionals such as Elina Brotherus and Olivier Metzger. The collection, made up of do- nations and acquisitions, reflects a highly-varied approach to the medium and strong support for formal innovation.
